Posi-tap connectors

Instruction on how to use posi-tap connectors

Step 1 — Insert hot wire in the gray slot  ¶ 

Step 1 — Insert hot wire in the gray slot  ¶ 

  • Insert the hot wire in the gray slot of the posi-tap connector

  • It is generally easier to connect the gray connector first.

Step 2 — Hand tighten the connector  ¶

  • Hand tighten the connector the grey connector by hand

Step 3 — Insert wire  ¶ 

Step 3 — Insert wire  ¶ 

  • Insert wire into the red connector

  • Push the wire slightly to the side

Step 4 — Tighten the connector  ¶ 

Step 4 — Tighten the connector  ¶ 

  • Tighten the connector

  • Test the connection by slightly tugging on the wire
