Hello dpelerine, Great question, Vololights comes on sooner when moving downhill and later when moving uphill. The trigger point is shifted as the gravity component is introduced. This works out great as the braking distance of the vehicle also increases when moving downhill, Vololights will automatically adjusts the trigger point to be more sensitive giving drivers an earlier notice and vice versa when moving uphill. Hope this helps. regards, Faizal
Hello Benton, There are two red LEDs. The one closer to the green LED would flash when it senses the magnet and the red LED that is next to it would flash quickly after it has been calibrated. If you tilt the unit, do you see both LEDs flashing? You can get in touch with us for tech support here: http://vololights.com/pages/contact-us
Yes. Although BMWs have CANBUS, you can pull 12V from either the license plate lights (S1000RR, F800, GS) or the accessory power for the RT or the K1600. The accessory power is red with green stripe and brown is your return.
Hello Eli,
Thank you for your feedback. Both wires are outputs (Blue and Brown) and we updated the manual to clarify it. Thanks
